Shahad A Busaleh

My name is Shahad Busaleh 

Growing up in the Middle East for over half my life, I faced several limitations, especially when it came to pursuing a career in art. But from a young age, I was determined to follow my passion. At the age of 8 years old, I decided that being behind the camera was my path—it felt like the perfect way to express myself without drawing too much attention. I have since graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in Film and Television Directing and Producing. Throughout my college journey, I worked on numerous projects, maintained three jobs, and volunteered for various organizations during the summers in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.  Along the way, I discovered a love for marketing and photography. My travels allowed me to complete exciting projects that sharpened my skills in photography, and advertising. I was fortunate to learn from inspiring individuals I met along the way, and work with small business owners.
